Track
Track your government filing, step by step.
Every filing you start on Docufy has its own timeline, from payment to the PDF in your vault. Each step shows with its date and time, and we email you at key steps. No calling around to ask where it is.
Statuses
What each status means.
Every filing moves through the same steps. Each document shows a target time in business days before you start; the agency sets the final pace.
Only you can see this. Nothing is filed and nothing is charged until you pay.
We have your details. Next: payment.
Your itemised receipt is sent to your email.
The partner firm is reading your form before filing.
The partner firm needs something from you. We email you, the note says what to change, and you send it back from your phone.
The partner firm has submitted it to the agency. The agency now sets the pace.
The agency has issued your document.
Your PDF is in your vault with a verify link.
How it works
Tracking that tells you something.
Each filing has its own timeline, and every status change is logged with its date and time. Download a summary PDF or the full pack at any time.
We email you when you pay, when something needs fixing and when your document is ready. The partner firm follows up with the agency, and you see each step as it is logged.
Every delivered document has a verify link. Anyone can open it without an account and see the delivery date and the file’s SHA-256 fingerprint.
Independent checks
Tracking outside Docufy.
For some documents you can also confirm status on the agency's own public record. Here are the ones with a live public check.
CAC keeps a public record of registered companies, and a completed filing shows there once CAC has processed it.
Your NIN status and linked records can be checked via USSD (*346#), NIMC’s NINAuth app, or the NIMC self-service portal.
The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), formerly FIRS, runs its own TCC verification service, so whoever receives your TCC can confirm it with the NRS directly.

Questions
Common questions about tracking.
How do I track a CAC filing status?
Sign in, open your filings and tap the CAC filing. Each step shows with its date and time, from payment to the PDF in your vault.
How do I check my NIN status online?
You can check your NIN status via USSD by dialling *346# on any network, through NIMC’s NINAuth app, or on the NIMC self-service portal. If your NIN shows the wrong details, the NIN modification guide explains how to correct them.
How long does it take for a FIRS TCC to be issued?
The tax clearance certificate page shows its target time in business days before you start. The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), formerly FIRS, sets the final pace, and the partner firm follows up with the NRS. You see each step as it is logged.
What does "needs your fix" mean on my filing?
The partner firm needs something from you before it can file, like a clearer photo or a corrected detail. We email you, the note tells you exactly what to change, and you send it back from your phone. You don’t start again.
Can someone check a Docufy document without an account?
Yes. Every document we deliver comes with a verify link. Anyone can open it without an account and see when it was delivered and its SHA-256 fingerprint. It confirms the file came through Docufy; it doesn’t replace checking with the agency that issued it.
Will Docufy remind me when something is due again?
For yearly and monthly filings we deliver, like the CAC annual return, the tax clearance certificate (TCC), VAT returns and compliance certificates, we email you about two weeks before the next one is due.
See where your filing is, without calling anyone.
