Overview
What is International Passport (First Application)?
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) issues Nigerian international passports. A first application starts with enrolment and payment, then one biometric capture at a passport office for your photo and fingerprints, usually about a week later. The booklet is normally ready about three working days after your capture.
Docufy handles the paperwork around that visit. You choose your booklet, fill the form and upload your NIN slip, state of origin certificate and a digital passport photograph. A vetted partner firm enrols you with the NIS, books your capture and follows the application, and you follow every step on your phone. Bring the originals of every document to your capture.
Who needs this
Nigerians who have never held an international passport. If you already have one that is expiring, damaged, full or lost, that is a renewal, which is a separate application.
