Is the process different in Kano?
No. NIN Modification is a federal document, and the steps and price are the same wherever you are in Nigeria.
How much does NIN modification cost in 2026?
The price on this page is the full amount: the NIMC fee, our service fee and VAT on our fee. You see it before you pay.
Can I change my name on my NIN?
Yes. A new name needs a sworn affidavit, a newspaper publication and another government ID, plus a marriage certificate or publication if the change is because of marriage. To rearrange your names, you need a government ID that already shows them in the new order. You can start a change-of-name affidavit on Docufy first.
Will this fix my BVN mismatch?
Correcting your NIN so it matches your other records is usually what banks ask for. Once your NIN is right, your bank can re-match your BVN.
